Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These terms are written in plain language because they're meant to be read. By using UACC (the University Applicant Command Centre), you agree to what's below. UACC is an early-stage product, so a few things are worth being clear about up front.
What UACC is
UACC is an organizational tool for people applying to university. It helps you keep your schools, deadlines, requirements, grades, and essays in one place. It is a planner and a reference, nothing more.
Who can use UACC
UACC is for people applying to university, and many users are high-school students. You must be at least 13 to use UACC. If you are under the age of majority where you live (often 18), you may use UACC only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, and any purchase must be made by, or with the permission of, that parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. By purchasing, you confirm you're permitted to make the purchase.
Not official admissions advice
UACC does not provide official admissions, financial, or legal advice, and it does not guarantee admission, scholarships, or any other outcome. The fit categories (safety, target, reach) are informational estimates based on the data available, not predictions or promises. Admissions decisions are made solely by the universities themselves.
University data is estimated, always verify
University and program information in UACC, including deadlines, admission averages, acceptance rates, tuition, and scholarship figures, is aggregated from public sources. Some of it is verified and some is estimated, and any of it can be out of date or change between application cycles.
- Treat every figure as a starting point, not the final word.
- Always confirm deadlines, requirements, and costs with the official university source before you rely on them.
- Use the information at your own discretion. You can read more about how we label and source data on our data accuracy page.
You're responsible for your real deadlines
UACC can help you keep track of dates, but meeting your actual application deadlines is your responsibility. We can't be responsible for a missed deadline, a closed program, or an application that doesn't go through, please double-check the official requirements and dates for every school on your list.
Acceptable use
Please use UACC for its intended purpose, managing your own university applications. Don't use it to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, scrape or resell the data, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or misrepresent information to a university. We may limit or end access that is used in these ways.
Pricing & payment
UACC starts with a free 3-day trial. A card is required to begin the trial: nothing is charged up front, and full access is a one-time payment of $59.99 USD collected automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel first in Settings. It is not a subscription; after that single payment there is nothing recurring to cancel. Checkout and payment are handled by our payment provider; applicable taxes may be added at checkout, and you'll receive a receipt by email. We may change the price for future buyers, but a change never affects access you've already paid for.
Your license
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use UACC for your own university applications. Keep your license key private, it's how access is unlocked and restored across your devices. Please don't share, resell, or publish it; we may suspend access for keys that are abused.
No warranty
UACC is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the information useful and current, but we can't promise it's always complete, accurate, or available, or that the app will be free of errors or interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, UACC and the people behind it aren't liable for any loss or damage that results from using, or being unable to use, the app, or from relying on the information in it. That includes things like missed deadlines or admissions outcomes. In plain terms: UACC is a helpful tool, but the decisions and the responsibility for your applications remain yours.
Changes to these terms
As UACC grows, these terms may change. When they do, we'll update the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
