Paper, Ink
& Cherry.
The whole product is a quiet room. Cream, ink, and the greys between do the everyday work. Then one colour arrives, deep cherry, and only when it has something to say. This worked. This needs you. This cannot be undone. We do not decorate with it. We mean it.
Foundation
A quiet room, one bright voice.
We treat colour the way an editor treats words. Every one earns its place. A screen drowning in colour is exhausting, and oddly harder to read, because when everything shouts you stop hearing any of it.
So we keep the room quiet and let cherry speak at the moments that count. Paper and ink do the work. Cherry is the punchline, never the whole set. No gradients, no glass, no glow. A hairline and whitespace carry the structure, and they are enough.

Principles
Six rules that make the rest decide themselves.
Cherry means something.
It is reach, it is a deadline, it is the one action on the screen. People read it on instinct, so it never decorates. Spend it like a word you cannot take back.
Paper carries the room.
Cream, ink, and the greys between cover almost every surface. Before reaching for the bright, ask what it is telling someone. Usually nothing needs it.
The bright is punctuation.
A dot, a pill, a single number. A little goes a long way. When everything shouts you stop hearing any of it, so we keep the page quiet.
Cream on cherry, not black.
Our bright runs dark, the opposite of most. So text on cherry is cream, and cherry sits on cream. The contrast is built in, never forced.
Never colour alone.
Safety green and reach cherry read the same to some eyes. So colour always travels with a word, an icon, or a place. The meaning survives without it.
No gradients, no haze.
Flat ink, flat cherry, one hairline. No glow, no glass, no mood-lighting. The structure is whitespace and a rule, and it holds on its own.

Motion · the turn
A page is a drum. You turn it.
UACC has one signature gesture, borrowed and made our own: you move by rotation, not by scroll. Show, then say. The wheel carries the argument, the read-out clarifies it. Drag it, scroll over it, or arrow-key it. One beat per gesture, and it settles where you left it.

The drum
Weighted, settles on a beat. The ease is 0.22, 0.61, 0.36, 1.
The turn
A control rotates toward what it does. The seal turns once, slowly, on its own.
Reduced motion
Honour the setting. The wheel still turns, it just stops easing. No one is spun against their will.
